Hand-colored map of the Duchy of Pomerania from the English Atlas, vol. 2 (1681). Jan Jansson's plates were edited to accomododate the new publisher address (in the left-hand corner of the scale in printed - "sumptibus Janssonio-Waesbergiorum, Mosis Pitt, and Stephani Swart"). In the upper left corner of the map, there is a portrait of the last Pomeranian Duke Boguslaw XIV. In the middle, under the upper frame, there is the coat of arms of the Duchy of Pomerania. In the top right corner is a cartouche containing the legend. In the bottom left corner is a cartouche with map scales that is flanked by two men. In the bottom right corner is the title cartouche elaborately decorated with putti and a seated woman.
According to the title, the map was corrected by Frederick Palbitzke (15..-16..).
