The print depicts two men standing seen from behind looking at title for series of Dutch ships inscribed on stern of warship in dock in the center. An elderly man seated on barrels of cannons smoking pipe is featured on the left with sailors, ships, crates, anchors, casks and wharves on left and right. Ships flying the Dutch flag are visible. The composition is dominated by the hull of a ship bearing the inscription (in Latin) naming the print and engraver.
A date is handwritten in ink next to this inscription.
