"Photo. of model of the Ship Benjamin Tucker which sailed from New Bedford, Mass on her first voyage in 1839, + was destroyed by the Confederate Cruiser Alabama in 1862. The model was made by Leander Smith a boatsteerer on the Tucker during a voyage in the 40's."
