CC-N-0122.T.jpg

Uncolored etching depicting a harbor scene as seen from one side of a stone-reinforced inlet by a fortified town. In the foreground are sailors conversing, cooking, and resting, and there is a moored ship at far right. In the inlet is a rowboat full of large parcels as well as several small ships; the sea is out to the right of the composition. Across the inlet, men stand atop the stone wall, and the fortifications, which include a line of cannon and a tall tower with crenellations, rise up behind them. Decorative border at bottom of image; the artist attribution is printed at the left side of this. There is a very faint watermark in the paper.
