"Nautae in dorsa cetorum, quae insulas putant. Anchoras figentes saepe periclitantur. Hos cetos trolual sua lingua appellant, Germanice Teuffelwal;" which translates roughly as "The sailors in the backs of Whales, which are like islands. Anchors pitching often jeopardized. These whales speak their own language, called Teuffelwal" in German.
