A starboard-side view of the ship of the line HMS 'Duke of Wellington' anchored in harbor. Launched in 1852, she was an auxiliary steam and sail propelled ship. She was fitted with three masts and trim, square-set yards. In the print, her sails are loose. Behind her is a fleet of vessels, and in the right foreground, a group of men in a dinghy sail towards her.
