Book page (47, verso 48) from "Chronicon Orientale, Latinitate Donatvm Ab Abrahamo Ecchellensi". This object features Latin text discussing the Roman dynasty at the time of Christ's birth, but was collected for the engraving on p. 47 which depicts two human-sea serpent chimeras blowing trumpets and flanking a single nude figure standing atop a whale.
