Bookplate of Charles Wittingham the younger, a British printer. Consists of the slogan "Hope Well and Have Well", a dolphin twined about an anchor and a lion, a shield with a monogram and open book, an oak tree, and the name "CHARLES IOHN WHITTINGHAM". Another dolphin twined about an anchor is visible on the page of the book, a homage to the Aldine press.
