Copper engraving documenting the floor mosaics of Neptune and Nereids at the Porta Capena, a gate in the Servian wall on the south-west slope of the Caelian in Rome, Italy. Dedicated to the water god, the mosaic was made up of sea-themed creatures and activities such as whales and fishing.
