AF-DI-1491.T.jpg

Black and white engraving of a collection of antiques. Objects are numbered and a key at bottom identifies each piece. The largest object, which takes prominence in the print, is a menorah. The text at bottom identifies it as the menorah from the Temple in Jerusalem, to which the romans have added an additional base after the "triumph of Titus." ("Candelabro del Tempio di Gerosolima la base aggiuntavi dai Romani per il trionfo de Tito, si vedi nel medemo Arco.") The base of the menorah is decorated with seahorses, whales and dolphins.
