An hand-colored lithography of a shipwrecked 'Sutlej' from a Hurricane off the Cape on the morning of April 1, 1848 at half past 3, in Lat 36.20 S, Lon 23.58 E. The three masts and rigging of the ship are broken, leaving a half-flooded hull. The 'Sutlej' was built in 1847 by Green's for their company's London to Calcutta run.
