A print after an oil painting by Richard Paton assumed to be painted for King George III. The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London notes that Horace Walpole mentioned on 17 February 1775 that Paton had showed views of the royal dockyards at Deptford and Chatham to the King at Buckingham House and that the King was pleased. This view looks downriver towards the church of St. Alfege, Greenwich, and Greenwich Hospital. On the left side of the print, the Royal Yacht 'Mary' fires a salute as a barge, flying the Royal Standard heads towards it. On the right, shipbuilders construct a vessel on the dry dock.
