Engraving of a Roman or Greek seal with an image of Triton, represented with his characteristic symbols, the trident and twisted shell. Above and below the representation of the seal are printed "Tab. XXVIII" and "Triton". This is surrounded by a large, ornate border printed from a separate block with red ink, or with ink that has discolored to red. At the base of this border are the artist attributions.
