Part of an engraving depicting a painted ceiling and the statues and moulding (which includes a whale) on the ceiling. The plate appears to have been non-rectangular in shape from the impression marks. The image cuts off sharply at the left, indicating that it was cut. At top right, in the margin, is printed a small diamond or letter "O" preceeded by a dot. No other inscriptions.
