Hand-colored illustrations with nine whales (dolphins) within a small scene; seven out of the nine dolphins are beached. There is also a small vignette of a small one-person vessel encountering a narwhale and what looks like a mermaid tail in the center.
The top "18" notes the leaf number. Printed at bottom of each plate: "For full descriptions vide the Naturalist's library".
