Head view, leeward profile with sail set, and half-draught view of a flying proa.

The proa is constructed so that the head and stern are alike, but the two sides are different. The lee side is flat and the windward side is rounded. To prevent oversetting, braces from the ends project from her windward side and fastened to a log to steady the frame.
