Lines of the ship "Sparrow-Hawk", made in the early seventeenth century and rediscovered in Cape Cod in 1863. A body, sheer, and half-breadth plan are overlayed. Title and description are printed below. This image was used in Clark's "History of Yachting", where he describes it as follows: "Her hull was found [in 1863] to be in an excellent state of preservation, excepting the iron fastenings, which had entirely rusted away. Her lines were taken off, and are here given, together with her dimensions."
