Port-side view of the British clipper ship 'Silver Eagle.' She regularly made passages from China to London carrying cargoes of tea. She participated in the Tea Races of the 1860s, but was not known to win. In the print, she cuts through the wind and water while sailors work the sail on the bowsprit. The two lower sails are set on each mast while the top two sails are furled.
