AF-DI-1671.T.jpg

The title of the folio, "Cardinales S. Romanis," means "The Cardinals of the Holy Roman Eclesia." The print depicts three sets of seals. As the title indicates, one seal depicts sea creatures: the one at bottom right. In it, one large fish is leading a group of smaller fish. Although the object is mounted on a light paper backing, only the top edge is affxed; lifting either leaf shows that a long latin text is printed on the print's reverse side.
