This colored aquatint depicts a number of small vessels arriving by river to the Brandenburgh House. As the museum of London has identified in their online catalog, "Both the river and the grounds are filled with a large assembly of supporters of Queen Caroline (whose residence this is) in her quarrel with her husband, who became George IV on the death of George III."

In-plate inscription beneath the image reads "Pubd. by R. Bowyer, 74 Pall Mall, London. 1 Octr. 1821."

The caption below reads "Arrival at Brandenburg House of the Watermen, &ct. with an Address to the Queen on the 3d October 1820."
