AF-ZX-4011.T.jpg

Arms of William Kennedy Laurie, perhaps from a bookplate. With a shield in four quadrants, featuring two patterns each repeated twice--a chevron surrounded by three crosses and a wreath in a cup flanked by crosses; above is a cross standing upon a log and a dolphin next to a laurel tree; below is a banner with the text "INDUSTRIA ATQUE FORTUNA" (By Industry and Fortune) and below that, the text "Wm. Kennedy Laurie," and another line which has been rubbed out, but of which the second word appears to have been "Castle".
