"Norman Court" Taking a Pilot off the Lizard, From the original picture painted & engraved by T. G. Dutton
A tinted lithograph of the starboard side of the tea clipper 'Norman Court' off The Lizard, a peninsula in southern Cornwall, England, or off the Ness picking up a pilot. She had a very successful and profitable career. Her owner, the Baring Bros., commissioned Dutton the original painting at the cost of �100. In the far background on the left of the picture is a lighthouse and small buildings. Men row towards a boat in the foreground.
